Arm Lift Case 156

San Jose Arm Lift

Arm Lift is also known by its medical name, Brachioplasty. The procedure is done to reduce the excess or sagging skin on the upper arm, while tightening the underlying tissue to give the area some definition and shape. An Arm Lift can also remove extra fat.

In this case, our patient has undergone some weight loss. She is having Liposuction of other areas, (Chest, Back, and Abdomen), and has previously undergone an Abdominoplasty (Tummy Tuck). Essentially, this is another step in what could be termed a Body Lift.

She is concerned about the drooping appearance of her upper arms, and the excess fat that is still apparent. (Sometimes it is difficult to 'guide' the weight loss to the areas you would like to choose- and exercise will not solve the problem on its own). After discussions with Dr. Lepore, she determined to undergo Brachioplasty in our fully accredited surgical suite. Incisions were made, through which excess skin and fat were removed, and the tissue tightened. The scarring on the arms will fade with time.

Our patient is very pleased with the results of her Arm Lift, noting the greatly improved contour, as well as minimal scarring.

Arm Lift Case 571

This woman, in her upper 40s, came to us seeking arm contouring. Despite hours in the gym, she was unable to tone her arms to her satisfaction. We discussed options, and decided on a combined upper arm 360 degree liposuction, and removal of excess skin with a brachioplasty (arm lift).  Here's our patient, 6 weeks after surgery- displaying her new arm contours. Scars will continue to fade for up to a year, and are hidden on the inner portion of the arm.

Arm Lift Case 496

This patient came to us, with concerns about the appearance of her arms. She's in her early 70s, not overweight, but has visible loose and draping skin on her upper arms.  Dr. Maser removed the loose skin, tightening and tailoring her upper arms, through an arm lift procedure (known as Brachioplasty). She is now healed, and very pleased with her results.

Arm Lift Case 218

Arm Lift-San Jose

This patient is in her upper 40s, and came to see Dr. Lepore to improve the appearance of her arms. She has lived with type 1 diabetes, and has had an insulin pump inside her upper arm.  Years ago, the pump lead to fat necrosis, and a deformity in her arm. She had arm lift surgery (with another physician) to repair that damage, nearly 20 years ago.

With the passage of time, she was bothered by noticeable sagging along the scar lines on both arms. To restore the shape and firmer appearance to her arms, Dr. Lepore performed a full, longitudinal Brachioplasty (Arm Lift) on both arms.

She is very pleased with the improvement achieved through her surgery. She continues the recommended care, and treatment to further reduce the appearance of her scars.

This woman is in her 70s, and felt it was time to change some areas that have been bothering her. She was unhappy with excess, and hanging upper arm skin, and excess skin in the bra strap area.  She nderwent brachioplasty (arm lift surgery) and removal of the excess skin at the bra strap line. She's very pleased with her results, and smoother, contoured look.

Arm Lift Case 198

Arm Lift-San Jose

This is a patient who had an Arm Lift earlier in life.  Now, more than 15 years after her original procedure, she came to see Dr. Lepore, hoping to revise her Arm Lift in San Jose.  To deal with the effects of the natural aging and weight fluctuations, she wanted to extend the effects of the first procedure.

For this procedure, also known as Brachioplasty, Dr. Lepore performed surgery from beneath the armpit, to the elbow. An incision was made, old scar tissue, extra skin and tissue were excised, then all layers resected and tightened. The results of arm lift surgery are apparent immediately. Our patient is very pleased with the slimmer, firmer contour of her arms.
