This is a woman in her late 20s, who hoped for resolution of some very personal problems. She is bothered in a number of ways, physically and otherwise, with the structure and appearance of her labia. It was noted, on examination, that there was quite a bit of excess skin in her labia minora. They were hanging, and causing considerable discomfort in many activities.
Dr. Lepore explained what could be achieved through Labiaplasty, a surgical procedure designed to remove excess skin and tissue, and tailor the labia to a contour that would provide aesthetic improvement, and relieve the patient's physical comfort.
Our patient had the surgery, and is very pleased with her decision to undergo Labiaplasty. Her results are pictured, 7 weeks after the procedure.
This patient is in her late 40s, and was bothered by what she considered large, pendulous labia minora, that had become more pronounced following multiple pregnancies and vaginal deliveries.
She elected to undergo Labiaplasty, to minimize the labia minora (inner labia), with utilization of the edge trim technique. Vaginal rejuvenation is a very personal and individual issue, and the approach is tailored to the individual. In this case, the after photos show the results 8 weeks following surgery.
Our patient decided to include Labiaplasty in an overall Mommy Makeover. In addition, she underwent Breast Augmentation, Tummy Tuck, and Liposuction procedures; all performed in one surgical session in our AAAASF-accredited surgical suite. She is very pleased with the outcome of her Labiaplasty, and Mommy Makeover.
This woman has been experiencing problems in her vaginal area, due to the size and shape of her inner labia. She reports that the problem became worse following childbirth, with the region becoming more and more irritated.
She underwent Labiaplasty, during which the excess tissue of her labia minora was excised, and resected.
The after photo shows the result 5 weeks following surgery. Our patient has healed well, and has been very pleased with her decision, and the results of her procedure.
Women often have difficulty discussing their concerns related to this most sensitive area of the body. Labiaplasty is performed to address issues of discomfort, and even insecurity.
This patient is over 40, has had children, and had been experiencing difficulties for some time, related to large, hanging Labia Minora. She complained of discomfort and irritation from simple contact with clothing- and especially with any type of exercise or workout.
In her discussions with Dr. Lepore, she learned about the options available through Labiaplasty. In this case, the excess skin of the (inner) labia would be removed, and the labia then carefully tailored.
The patient is very pleased she decided to proceed with Labiaplasty, and is experiencing a renewed level of comfort, and confidence.
Many women experience difficulties they don't often speak of. Irregularities in a woman's labia can cause a number of problems, ranging from physical pain, to embarrassment. This patient is a woman who has had children. The childbearing experience has added to an earlier problem she's had with large and hanging labia minora.
She complained of pain and discomfort, in interference with her clothing, and in intimate relations.
The procedure she underwent is known as bilateral labia minora Labiaplasty, with wedge excision. As you can see in the photos, the excess skin has been removed, and the remaining tissue tailored. Our patient recovered quickly. The After photo was taken 8 weeks post-operatively. She is very pleased that she made this choice.
This is a woman in her early 40s, who has made the decision to correct some very personal problems she has been experiencing. She has been bothered by the size of her inner labia (labia minora). The excess, hanging tissue has been causing discomfort for years, with clothing, as well as in intimate situations.
Dr. Lepore performed a Labiaplasty procedure, during which the excess tissue is removed, and the labia tailored. Our patient's recovery period was brief, and she is very satisfied with her decision, and her results.
This patient, in her early 50s, was bothered for some time by problems associated with the size and formation of her labia (long, with one slightly longer than the other). In her case, she complained of discomfort, particularly during workouts, and most especially with running activities. Dr. Lepore explained the changes that could be made with Labiaplasty, in reducing the size of her labia. After studying the different approaches to the surgery, she opted for what is known as the edge trim technique.
The After photo was taken 5 weeks following surgery. Our patient is healed, and very pleased with her choice and her results.
