Many women experience difficulties they don't often speak of. Irregularities in a woman's labia can cause a number of problems, ranging from physical pain, to embarrassment. This patient is a woman who has had children. The childbearing experience has added to an earlier problem she's had with large and hanging labia minora.
She complained of pain and discomfort, in interference with her clothing, and in intimate relations.
The procedure she underwent is known as bilateral labia minora Labiaplasty, with wedge excision. As you can see in the photos, the excess skin has been removed, and the remaining tissue tailored. Our patient recovered quickly. The After photo was taken 8 weeks post-operatively. She is very pleased that she made this choice.
