A very active young woman, in her 20's, has noted that along with the weight she has lost due to her exercise program, some of the volume in her breasts has disappeared too. She came to see Dr. Lepore, hoping for restoration of what she had lost in the upper pole of her breasts. After hearing all of the options for Breast Augmentation, including saline or silicone implants, she chose to have High Profile Saline implants inserted.
In her case, the implants were placed beneath the muscle (subpectoral), and inserted through an incision under the arm (transaxillary). They were filled with approximately 280 cc. The result- this patient feels her lost volume has been restored. She's very pleased once again, with the appearance of her breasts.
Breast Augmentation-San Jose
This is a woman in her mid-30s who has had a baby in the past couple of years. She wanted to restore some of the breast volume she feels she lost as a result of the pregnancy and post-pregnancy process. She discussed her options with Dr. Lepore. He suggested that she might be best served with a Breast Lift, in addition to the Breast Augmentation she wanted.
Our patient realizes that there has been some sagging of her breasts, but because she may have more children, she would like to revisit the issue of Breast Lift, at some time in the future.
For now, she decided on Breast Augmentation alone; with Soft Touch, 450cc Full Profile silicone gel implants. She is seen 3 months following her procedure, and is very pleased with the restored volume to her breasts. We wish her well, as she considers adding to her family!
This young woman had had a Breast Augmentation some time ago. She experienced one of the most common complications resulting from this type of surgery, a condition known as Capsular Contracture, or contracting of the implants due to the formation of internal scar tissue.
All patients differ when it comes to scar formation. In this case, you can see that the implants had been 'pushed' to a position not considered optimal for a natural appearance.
She came to Dr. Lepore to have the scar tissue removed, in an operation known as a capsulotomy or capsulectomy. Once that was done, the existing implants were removed, and replaced with silicone gel implants, of the patient's choosing.
To complete her transformation, she also chose to have a breast lift, or bilateral Donut Mastopexy.
She is very pleased with the outcome, and feels the appearance of her breasts has been greatly improved.
After giving birth to, and raising two children, this woman wanted to restore some of the volume lost in her breasts. After consulting with Dr. Lepore in our San Jose Plastic Surgery office, she decided to have Breast Augmentation surgery. Among her concerns, was the fact that one breast was slightly larger than the other. This is a very common occurrence, and something that can be addressed with breast augmentation. She chose high profile, saline implants. During the procedure in our outpatient surgical suite, the implants were filled to differing levels, to accommodate the asymmetry.
Following the procedure, the patient was counseled about aftercare, including massage, and how to minimize scarring. The patient was able to return to normal activities within days, and is very pleased with her restored contours.
This 44-year-old woman came to Dr. Lepore to explore a variety of procedures performed together, which is commonly a Mommy Makeover. She wanted to change some of the shrinkage and the sagging appearance that her breasts took on after pregnancy. She also had significant stretching and relaxing of her abdominal wall, and therefore was interested in abdominal enhancement with liposuction and a tummy tuck.
Dr. Lepore performed a Mommy Makeover to address all of the patient's concerns in a single surgery. She underwent a subglandular breast augmentation and in her case it was determined she would benefit from a breast lift with the donut incision technique. She also underwent tummy tuck with liposuction of the upper mid abdomen and flanks for further body contouring. The procedures were performed together. The patient recovered within 2 weeks of the surgeries, and was very happy with the outcome, and the dramatic change in her new look.
This young woman, in her 20s, leads a healthy lifestyle and has recently achieved a weight loss of more than 15 pounds. As often happens, she's been having some difficulty reducing and reshaping some "target" areas. When we gain or lose weight, it doesn't always distribute evently, or go where we'd like.
She wanted to discuss her reshaping options with Dr. Lepore. She had goals of increasing her breast size, and removing some of the excess fat in her abdomen, sides (flanks), and inner thighs. She decided to undergo Breast Augmentation surgery, along with Liposuction of multiple areas.
The procedures were performed in one session, in our AAAASF-accredited surgical suite. During surgery, our patient underwent a transaxillary, subpectoral Breast Augmentation. She chose 360cc silicone gel implants - (smooth, round, moderate profile).
The areas liposuctioned, included her upper and lower abdomen, right and left flanks, and both inner thighs. A total of 3,375cc of fat was removed from all areas.
The After photos were taken 8 weeks following surgery. Our patient says she is extremely pleased with her results, and her new body contour.
This woman in her mid-30s wanted solutions to multiple concerns she was having about the appearance of her breasts: loss of volume (breast involution) and sagging (ptosis).
After a consultation with Dr. Lepore, she decided to proceed with both breast augmentation and breast lift in his San Jose surgery center. Because lax skin was causing the patient's breast sagging, Dr. Lepore recommended against breast augmentation alone.
Dr. Lepore explained the various approaches possible and our patient chose the following: breast augmentation with moderate profile silicone breast implants (265cc) and a short-scar anchor lift. Among breast lift techniques, this one provides a good, moderate lift, while leaving a "shorter scar." (The standard, so-called "anchor lift" usually produces the greatest amount of lift with a longer incision and scar)
In this case, our patient is very pleased with the choices she made, and the results of her combined procedures.
Breast Lift-Short Scar, Breast Augmentation
Breast Lift – Breast Augmentation – Remove & Replace Breast Implants
Patients considering cosmetic breast surgery often tell us they like the look of their breasts-in a bra, but want to have the same appearance (or lift) without one. Often, they will want to achieve the look with Breast Augmentation alone. Sometimes, that can work-but often, it is not the solution. This patient has had saline breast implants for a period of years. She has noticed some sagging of her C to D cup breasts, and wants to replace the current implants with larger, silicone implants. Dr. Lepore advised that switching to a larger size would not produce the Lift she wanted.
After careful consideration, the patient decided to undergo a combination of procedures; short scar Breast Lift, removal of saline implants, Breast Augmentation with high profile silicone implants. (500cc Allergan Natrelle). The after photos were taken about 2 months after the surgery. The patient is very pleased with her choices, and the appearance of her breasts.
Like many young women, this patient was interested in breast augmentation. She came to see San Jose plastic surgeon Dr. Vincent Lepore to discuss the various ways she might enhance her smaller B-cup size breasts.
She decided to have breast augmentation surgery with saline breast implants. Dr. Lepore performed the procedure in our San Jose surgical center. He used underarm incisions to place the implants under the patient's chest muscles. The high profile implants were each filled to 430cc. This patient is very happy with the results of her procedure.
This woman, in her 40s, wished to 'update' the Breast Augmentation she had over 15 years ago. She was very pleased with her breast aug, but has noted some slight sagging occurring naturally over time. She came to Dr. Lepore to discuss options, and decided on Breast Lift, and Breast Augmentation with Removal and Replacement of her original implants.
During surgery in our AAASF-accredited surgical facility, her original (390cc) Saline Implants were removed, and replaced with Extra High Profile Silicone Implants (650cc). Her Breast Lift, a Donut Mastopexy, was performed with incisions around the areola, a procedure providing a more moderate lift. Our patient is picture in the After photos, 7 weeks post-surgery. She is very happy with her results.
