Breast Reduction-Breast Lift San Jose
This is an example of Breast Reduction with 'anchor-type' Breast Lift. This case also provides an example of what is possible and advisable in these surgeries. The patient, in her early 40s, has been suffering for many years from the effects of the size and weight of her breasts. In the HH Cup range, with the right breast larger and more pendulous than the left, she has been bothered by back and neck pain, and rashes. She wishes to reduce her breasts to a much smaller size.
Dr. Lepore counseled her that there are limits to what can and should be done. To avoid compromising blood supply, and the health of the breast tissue and nipple, great care is taken. He recommended a reduction of tissue, and a standard mastopexy to achieve a result in the D-cup range. In addition, he recommended this approach to preserve body symmetry for an aesthetic result.
During surgery, approximately 1400 grams of tissue were removed from the breasts, more on the right than left. During the lift procedure, the breasts were tailored, and the nipples repositioned.
The patient is very pleased with the changes in her breasts, and her new level of physical comfort.
