This woman elected to have injections of Botox in several areas, for improvement of facial lines.
She had 24 units of Botox injected into the glabella, to ease the frown lines between her brows. In addition, 16 units were injected into the crow's feet area, for further refinement
When we frown, the 'furrows' created between the eyebrows vary from person to person. They can be deep or shallow, and those indentations may remain after time, even when we're not frowning.
This patient had begun to be bothered by her frown lines, and wanted to see if Botox could help. This was her first experience with the injectable cosmetic treatment, and she was very pleased. You can see her results following injections with 20 units of Botox.
Botox injections have many uses. In most cases, it can achieve the subtle changes patients want. In this instance, our patient was bothered by vertical frown lines between her brows. Treating this condition, was among the original uses of Botox approved by the FDA.
This woman was injected with 10 units, giving her the furrow-free appearance she was hoping for.
This woman wanted to eliminate the "ridge" effect between her brows, caused by muscle contraction in frowning. She was disturbed that the ridge remained visible, even when she wasn't actively frowning.
She was injected with 16 units of Botox for her glabella (where the '11' lines form). In addition, 12 units were injected around each eye, softening lines, and smoothing the appearance of her lower forehead.
