This woman has had surgery on her lower eyelids in the past. She wished to have that surgery revised, to address some fullness and sagging beneath her eyes.
Through what's known as canthopexy, on the lower eyelids, excess fat was removed, and the sagging corrected as well. The procedure also gave the patient a subtle adjustment to the angle of the eye, restoring a more youthful tilt, in addition to improving the tone, and correcting the contour of her lower eyelids.
This is an older patient, who has been bothered for years, by growths on his upper and lower eyelids. He was disturbed by what he considered an abnormal appearance, perceived by others, and had been seeking cosmetic improvement for this condition for some time.
The lesions around his eyes, are made up of fatty material (xanthelasmas), which Dr. Li was able to remove during surgery, along with some of the drooping (festooning) skin below the lower lid.
The patient is very pleased with the outcome.
